① Tokyo Tower
Previously considered the main symbol of Tokyo, this tower (opened on December 23, 1958) is a popular sight that is illuminated for seasonal and special events.
② Harumi Wharf
With its passenger terminal and seven berths serving as gateways to the sea for domestic and foreign luxury cruise ships, you might see a luxury vessel docked here.
③ Rainbow Bridge
This gently arched bridge is a symbol of Tokyo Bay. Roughly the same height as a 40-storey skyscraper, it’s a top Tokyo sightseeing spot and makes an excellent backdrop for group photos.
④ Odaiba
A popular cruising spot for parties and barbeques in dock in sight of Rainbow Bridge, here you can enjoy a stable berth free from shaking.
⑤ Toyosu
The vestigial docks and cranes of this spot convey a sense of its former importance as a shipbuilding center. Today, it provides elegant views of the nighttime skyline as the lights of newly-built office buildings reflect off the sea’s surface.
⑥ Eitaibashi
This bridge, the fourth to span the Sumidagawa River, was built in 1698 to mark the 50th birthday of Tokugawa Tsunayoshi. It’s a popular sightseeing spot with a view of Sky Tree.
⑦ Hama-rikyu Gardens
These gardens built during the Edo Period offer beautiful views of water and plants.
⑧ Oi Container Terminal
This is one of the world’s leading terminals, with a deep-water quay totaling 2,354 m in length. The close-up views of freight being unloaded from massive container ships makes it an impressive cruising spot.
⑨ Gate Bridge
Opened in 2012, this bridge is a new symbol of the Tokyo waterfront. Some say it looks like two dinosaurs facing off!

On some days, passengers can experience the impressive feeling of watching jets take off and land directly above them from the water near Haneda Airport, Japan’s largest.
